Hi, I’m Tiffany.

Many of my clients are looking for ways to strengthen their voices and develop a stronger sense of who they are. They tend to see themselves as outliers: the ones who count themselves out or who yearn for a different life but can’t quite navigate how to get it. It can be so difficult to navigate all the various challenges thrown at us today, while also striving to discover who we are and what we might need to establish some sense of joy, balance, and connectedness. If we don’t have the tools or support systems in place to process these struggles, we can end up feeling isolated in guilt and shame. In our work together, we will work on developing greater awareness and self-compassion while stoking our imaginations to think of new ways forward.

I work with children, adults, couples, and families who seek support for a variety of issues, such as grief, anxiety, depression, burnout, trauma, and transitions. I work from an integrative, client-centered approach that is trauma-informed and rooted in empathy. I can use humour when the mood calls for it, but I can also be practical in crafting tools and techniques that people can use in their daily lives. Each session we spend together will be dependent on your needs in that unique moment of your life.

Together we’ll explore the following forms of treatment:

Internal Family Systems: working toward a state of self-leadership by meeting all the various parts of ourselves with compassion and empathy.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: embracing the present moment as the first step towards meaningful change.

Narrative Therapy: exploration of how lived experiences shape our identities and collaboration to discover empowering ways to rewrite personal narratives.

Emotion-Focused Therapy: examination of emotional responses that stem from early attachments and the restructuring of those responses in current relationships.

Cognitive Behaviourial Therapy: navigating the thoughts and behaviours that influence our feelings and choices.

Somatic Interventions: connecting with the body to regulate the nervous system and gain a better understanding of how our brains, bodies, thoughts, and feelings are connected.

I can offer online sessions, as well as in-person sessions at our 19th Street office.

Hi, I’m Carla and I am so glad you’re here.

I have been passionate about mental health from a young age and am a strong advocate for removing the stigma often associated with seeking support and treatment. As a practicum student, I am excited to be using my own lived experiences in combination with my professional skills to support and encourage others on their path to well-being.

I believe that you are in the driver’s seat of your own life, and that can be scary and overwhelming at times. Using a client-centred approach means that you take the wheel, but I am right there next to you when you need some support and guidance.

As a Crisis Responder for the Vancouver Island Crisis Line and also 9-8-8 Canada (previously Talk Suicide), I am supportive of the needs of clients who may be struggling with trauma, grief, and other heavy topics. I hold a certificate in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) as well as a post-graduate certificate in Addiction Care and Treatment from the University of British Columbia.

I am dedicated to creating a safe and collaborative space to explore goals, gain new skills, and improve an overall sense of well-being. I use an integrated counselling approach which is trauma-informed and incorporates several counselling modalities based on client needs. I also work from a Culturally Responsive and Socially Just (CRSJ) lens and welcome LGBTQ2S+ clients and clients from diverse backgrounds. I currently provide counselling for individuals, couples, families, and children aged 7 and above.

Hi, I’m Amy and I am so grateful you are here!   Do your thoughts, behaviours, or emotions ever feel overwhelming and the idea of talking about them uncomfortable? Maybe it all feels tangled and confusing. Or maybe you worry about what seeing a counsellor means or what other people might think. I can relate. That was me a decade ago. Once I started seeing a counsellor, my fears soon turned into a deep passion for understanding the human experience.

Being with someone who has unconditional positive regard, empathy, and is nonjudgmental benefits our mental health and overall well-being. We are so much more than our thoughts, emotions, or behaviours. I have a genuine desire to go beyond the surface to help you understand your challenges and fully discover and embrace your true, most authentic Self.    I have a particular interest in working with adults struggling with their mental health, those who identify as highly sensitive (HSP), couples who feel unfulfilled or experience conflict, and anyone interested in exploring their inner world. I also enjoy working with children 10+.   My therapeutic style is humanistic and client-centred, which means you choose the pace and approach most comfortable for you, and I am here to support and guide you along the way. I use empathy, genuine curiosity, intuition, and humour to help nurture our relationship so you feel safe, supported and comfortable to share anything that is on your mind or in your heart. I approach each session holistically (mind, body, heart, and soul). My practice is trauma-informed, socially just, culturally responsive and grounded in the belief that all humans have one thing in common – the deep desire to be seen, heard, understood, and feel like they belong.    I offer both online and in-person sessions. Please click the link below to book an appointment. I am looking forward to meeting you.
