Life can bring changes and challenges. Over time, it can feel like something is inherently wrong with us, like we don’t belong, or that real change is out of reach. Many experience a feeling of losing their direction or purpose, and some get lost in a process where there are no clear answers. Although these feelings are natural, many of us feel stuck, wondering “What now?” As a Registered Therapist and someone who has walked that path myself, I can help you navigate (the often concurrent) challenges of changing relationships, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and changing roles.
I offer support to help you explore your needs, values, and priorities, enabling you to curate your next chapter with renewed intention and clarity. Together, we will explore what lights you up, what is important now, and ultimately, where you want to go from here.
I am a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor registered with the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada. Please feel free to book a free half-hour consultation with me to discuss your needs and goals. Please check with your provider to ensure you are covered under your plan for RTC, ACCT#3460, Supervision with K. Pinsonneault, RCC#12131.

Welcome! I am happy you found me! I’m Brenda (she/her). I am a practicum student working to complete my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Are things feeling pretty heavy right now and you need a soft place to land? I’ve been there! How comforting it is having the right people walk beside you on your journey towards healing and thriving! I would be honoured if you chose me as your travel companion.
I believe in people. I listen intently and with compassion. My gentle and fun approach will draw out your beautiful strengths and your unique insights; these will guide our sessions. Together, we will explore what is getting in the way of you being your best self. Then, we will build a tailored plan. Let’s get you ‘home’.
I welcome clients from all backgrounds and with varying life challenges. I feel connected to work that supports life transitions, relationship and family healing work, chronic health conditions, and the moments when you feel ‘stuck’ or overwhelmed.
I also have a passion for working with children ages 10+, youth, and the families that support them. I completed my undergraduate degree in Child and Youth Care (BCYC) at the University of Victoria. My love of learning and passion for working across complex developmental stages and kids’ ‘hard stuff’, translated into graduating with distinction and on the Dean’s list. I have experience working across complex anxiety presentations, stress, peer- and school-based challenges, and suicidality. I am loudly neuro- and identity-affirming.
I work from a whole-person experiencing and seeing stance. I believe that you have your own answers and knowing; they just may be hard to reach right now. My approach is integrative and adapted to you. I am drawn towards modalities that are creative, emotion and attachment focused, and ones that consider the deep roots of who we are and how we got here. My value is in listening deeply and being with you. I will hold your story with care. But then what? Together, we will develop strategies, learnings, and tools that you can draw from. Self-discovery and self-reliance are beautifully empowering parts of you that are ready to be unearthed and reignited!

Hi, I’m Emily. The experience of soul-seeking and wanting change in life is a common human experience. Sometimes this can mean we need support from someone else. We live in a world where connection has become less frequent or has less depth, and we may feel alone in our struggles. In my experience, we may struggle to find out why we are the way we are. I am here to support you in finding your way, whatever that looks like.
I believe in supporting people where they are at and believing in the ability of humans to grow and change through adversity. My goal as a counsellor is to help you find healing through self-discovery and building healthy coping skills. I am here to meet you where you are at and work together to create goals that will address your concerns or make changes that will help you to live the life you want to live.
I have worked with numerous populations, and currently am happy to work with pre-teens, teens, young adults, adults, and older adults who experience a variety of concerns. This includes a background in mental health and addictions, eating disorders, and codependency. I work from a strengths-based lens in order to help relieve stress, shame, guilt, grief, anxiety, depression and burnout.
I offer a refuge for anyone who desires change by using an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens. I will walk beside you and support you in finding healing by exploring Schema Therapy, Somatic or body-based nervous system healing, restorative attachment therapy, Family Systems or intergenerational patterns, and Emotion-focused therapy.

Elena Prill BCACC #S01961 supervised by RCC-ACS #12131
Welcome. I’m Elena (she/her), a counselling practicum student completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I’ve always been drawn to understanding how we evolve, adapt, and move through life. Before beginning my counselling training, I worked as a change consultant in organizational settings, where I studied, supported, and became formally trained in change processes. Alongside that work, I volunteered with youth suicide prevention, advocated for improvements in healthcare, supported newcomers to Canada, and championed women in leadership. Over time, I felt a quiet calling to go deeper and work more one on one with individuals. As my own experiences of change unfolded, pursuing counselling began to feel like genuine alignment. Having lived and worked abroad in several countries, I also bring an appreciation for how cultural context can shape our experiences. Change can take many forms. Sometimes change is something we long for, when parts of our lives no longer fit, when we feel stuck, or when we cannot yet see what comes next. Other times, it arrives uninvited through loss, illness, or circumstances we never would have chosen. I welcome clients from all walks of life and feel especially connected to work involving life transitions, grief and loss, and the emotional complexity that can accompany illness. I also have a special interest in women’s experiences, including fertility-related stress, pregnancy loss, balancing work and family, and menopause. My approach is thoughtful and collaborative. Drawing from cognitive behavioural, psychodynamic, and solution-focused perspectives, I aim to offer a space where all parts of you are welcome. Together, we can make sense of what feels difficult and begin creating a path forward that feels clearer, steadier, and more hopeful. I’m offering low-cost sessions while I complete my counselling practicum under the supervision of a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Approved Clinical Supervisor. I invite you to reach out if you’d like to explore how we might work together.
